Fonts research

Apple Chancery font

Bickham Script pro font

Edwardian Script ITC font

Handwriting- Dakota font

Mistral font

Savoye LET plain font

Snell Roundhand font

Zapfino font

Here I have researched into possible fonts I could use for my teaser trailer. I have produced these on Live Type as this will be the programme I will be using to produce the text and titles to my teaser trailer. All the fonts I have chosen within these images are fairly similar. I have chosen fonts that I think look like they would relate to a Romantic genre film. I found out from my previous research that most fonts have been kept fairly simple, which makes them stand out without having to be overly bold and dramatic.
I think that all these fonts have pros and cons to them. All look like they could fit within my teaser trailer, although I feel some are too bold and dramatic looking, such as the 'Mistral font,' 'Apple Chancery font' and 'Bickham Script pro font.' I personally think that there could be a couple of these fonts that could work really well within my teaser trailer and think that the best way to choose would be to ask my target audience as this will help me choose the font that will be best. I think that a font such as 'Zapfino font' could work very well as it is fairly simplistic but has an italic and slight curled look about it which would have the romantic genre look but also a simplicity about it.
Another font I personally think could work really well is the 'Savoye LET plain font.' It has just the right amount of boldness about it which helps it to stand out but it doesn't look too dramatic which means it wouldn't take away from the rest of the poster or my teaser trailer.
